Bingo wings
The term “bingo wings” refers to the fat deposits in the triceps area, commonly causing the skin beneath the arm to noticeably droop and resemble flaps. While this condition primarily affects women, it can also impact men. Even without fat buildup, factors such as weight loss or aging can lead to loose skin around the arms, enhancing the drooping effect and creating a “bingo wing” appearance.
The fat on the upper arm is typically caused by age, a slow metabolism, and/or excessive weight. This area contains both shallow and deep layers of fat, with the superficial layer increasing in size with age, potentially leading to noticeable fatty growth under the upper arm. Sudden weight loss or aging can reduce the firmness of this area, causing the skin to droop. Various treatments are available to remove bingo wings or arm fat, or to improve the quality of the arm skin.
